Big pants and big fun, Bridget is back!

Big pants and big fun, Bridget is back, and that can only mean one place. Synonymous with London, our national treasure that is Bridget Jones, is best known for her ‘lovely flat’ and wandering through Borough Market in many a scene from the franchise, so much so that when I recently took a visit, you’re almost looking out for her.

With the latest instalment, eagerly awaited and scheduled for release on Galentines, our superhero singleton, would waste no time in gathering the girls (and Tom) and embarking on a foodie safari around the various stalls.

No Bridget buffet would be complete without the obligatory cocktail starter, and we started with a Prosecco spritzer and channelled our inner Bridget soaking up the sights, sounds and scents that delivered a foodie world festival at every turn.

A brief fling with the Oyster Bar ensued before going steady with the paella stall, led us to finally committing to the chocolatarie and gelataria!

Happy Galentines! How will you celebrate? 

 Not travelling overseas until age 19, this Venturing Nomad's work and life have taken her to just under 70 countries, with more adventures always planned. Twelve years as a Diplomat led to excitement and adventures across the globe, and she is now enjoying travelling with her young daughter and seeing the world afresh through her eyes.

A published author in fact and fiction, she firmly believes in the mantra "take only photos - leave only footprints". More of a feeder than a foodie, she has cooked her way around the globe, from the hill tribes in Thailand, Nonna's kitchen in Italy to the beachfront hotel in Morocco. There is always a story and, more importantly, a recipe.
