I Go My Own Way

By Tricia Scott.

With so many varying pieces of advice coming at us daily (and each claiming to be the right way), it's hard not to feel completely confused on the road to success. Which path should we follow? Are we doing it right? Should we be showing up differently? Dancing? Blogging? Going Live?

Before you dive back into bed and pull the covers over your head, consider this: What is the right way anyway?

Allow me to share something revolutionary with you. Are you ready?

The right way is the way that feels good to you.

Thats it.

I'm not even joking.

There is no one surefire way to get there; besides, is it even success if it feels like torture on the way?

If you are running a business, you have to do something, that's for sure, but it doesn't have to be the same as anyone else. Most entrepreneurs I speak with share that their number one reason for starting a business was the freedom it would bring, so take it! Look at the options available, find what works for you and give it a go.

➡ You are allowed to thrive and not be on screen.

➡  You are allowed to thrive and not have a TikTok account.

➡  You are allowed to thrive and not be on every social channel.

➡  You are allowed to thrive and take Mondays off.

➡  You are allowed to try different tactics, change your mind countless times, and still thrive.

I know, right? It sounds craaaazzzzy, but if you spend a little time cutting back on the 'noise', you'll begin to hear yourself again. Remember her?

Take some time this week and reflect on this affirmation. What do you enjoy as you go about your work? Where are you trying to be a square peg fitting into a round hole? What does your gut tell you?

Take a break, loosen up, and feel the feeling of breaking free of the rules. Remember, the ordinary often comes at the cost of the extraordinary - Ash Ambirge

Be a Maverick, go rogue. Tell them I sent you. I've got your back.

You've got this. I believe in you (always).
