Starting Over Isn't Failing-It's Smart Business

Starting over can feel overwhelming —especially when it comes to our businesses. I can't tell you how many times I've heard amazing, talented women say they've "failed" simply because they decided to step back and make a different choice. But let me tell you—nothing could be further from the truth!
 
Re-evaluating isn't just OK; it's essential for a thriving business. The real trouble starts when we keep pushing forward without pausing to check in—on our market, our energy, or whether we actually even enjoy what we're doing anymore.
 
Here's the good news: Not only can you change direction, but choosing to do so is a total power move. It's what separates those who build something sustainable from those who burn out trying to force something that no longer fits. This, right here, is where you get to lean into your strengths, let go of the things that drain you, and even outsource what doesn't bring you joy. (Remember that freedom you wanted when you started this whole thing?)
 
So, if this feels like you, here's a pocket-sized pep talk:
 
It's OK to take a break and come back later (or not).
It's OK to pivot mid-project.
It's OK to put down a heavy load and rest.
It's OK to try something new, mix it up, or go part-time for a while.
 
There is zero shame in making a different choice. 
 
Trying a new way when the first way doesn't work out? That's not failure—that's leadership. And leadership is precisely what you need to create real, lasting success.
