Your Version of Success Is the Only One That Matters

By Tricia Scott.
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about what success really means, and who gets to define it.
We live in a world that throws confetti for engagements, weddings, and baby showers (as it should!). But where's the glitter cannon for the woman who just launched her business from the kitchen table? Or the one who walked away from a toxic workplace and chose herself instead?
As female founders, trailblazers, and change-makers, our paths don't always look like the ones our families or society imagined for us. We're not following the traditional script (because, frankly, there isn't one), and that can feel...complicated. Especially when we don't get the same kind of applause for our wins.
The thing is, success is not a one-size-fits-all situation.
For some, it's a corner office and a Chanel bag. For others, it's paying the bills and doing what they love. It might be freedom. Joy. Boundaries. Adventure. Or simply that deep, soul-satisfying feeling of living life on your terms.
So here's your reminder from me to you: You don't need to fit anyone else's version of success to be worthy of celebration.
Your definition of success is valid. Period.
You're doing it. You're redefining it, and by doing so, you're lighting the way for others to do the same.
And that? That's worth more than gold (and Chanel).
I believe in you (always).
